For all meeting participants a bus tour around Kazan will be arranged (included in registration fee).
This excursion is to get you acquainted with the city of Kazan and its most important and beautiful sights.
Anyway you can't miss the city center – Kazan Kremlin, Cathedral of the Annunciation , Märcani Mosque,
Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral, Tatar settlement and others main sight of Kazan

One of the most beautiful Tatarstan monasteries, it was founded in the 17th century and was one of the first Orthodox monasteries in the territory of Tatarstan.

The fortress at Sviyazhsk island was founded in 16th century. Two monasteries were built in the territory. Later, during the Soviet period, they were used as concentration camps. During the Civil War, events near Sviyazhsk became a turning point and determined its outcome and the course of Russian history. Nowadays Sviyazhsk is being actively reconstructed, in order to restore life in a 16th century Russian-Tatar settlement.
Museums of Kazan State University
We will arrange several free of charge excursions to scientific museums of the Kazan State University.
These are museum of history of KSU, Butlerov's museum and museum of medical studies.

Bus Tour around Moscow
Duration: 4 hours
A sightseeing tour of Moscow with an experienced tour guide who will show and tell you about the main points
of interest, such as the Red Square, Alexander Gardens, Manezh Square, and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
You can also enjoy the incredible view of the Kremlin from Sophia embankment and the monument to Peter the Great.
This excursion will give you a first glimpse of Moscow. You will see the highlights, experience some city life,
and appreciate its uniqueness. You will learn more about the history and culture of our city, as well as how
people live. You will see the highlights and some hidden interesting places that will give you richer insights.
The Moscow Subway
Duration: 1hour
The Moscow Metro, which spans almost the entire Russian capital, is the world's second most heavily used rapid-transit system.
Opened in 1935, it is well known for the ornate design of many of its stations, which contain outstanding
examples of socialist realist art. The Moscow Metro's route is a total of 292.2 km (181.6 miles) in length,
with 12 lines and 177 stations. On a normal weekday it carries over 7 million passengers,
with considerably lower traffic on weekends. The average daily passenger traffic during the
year is 6.8 million passengers per day. The Moscow Metro is a state-owned enterprise.
Excursion to the Kremlin, Armory Chamber
Duration: 3 hours
The Kremlin is the symbol of Russia and the main tourist attraction of Moscow. Once the residence of Tsars
and Patriarchs, today it is one of the biggest architectural complexes in the world, which is included into
the UNESCO list. During this excursion you will see the chambers and cathedrals inside the fortress.
You will visit some of the churches in the area of Kremlin, walk by the Tsar Bell and the Tsar Cannon
and see the unique and priceless collections of the Armory Chamber.
Excursion to the State Tretyakov Gallery
Duration: 1.5 hours
The State Tretyakov Gallery is the national treasury of Russia's fine art and one of the greatest museums
in the world. It is located in one of the oldest districts of Moscow, Zamoskvorechye, not far from the Kremlin.
The Gallery's collection consists entirely of Russian art. Contributions were made by artists themselves or
people connected to the history of Russian Art. The collection contains more than 150 000 works, including:
paintings, sculptures and graphics, created throughout the centuries by successive
generations of Russian artists.
Sergiev Posad - Vladimir – Suzdal
Duration: 2 days/ 1 night
One of the most interest cities of the Golden Ring of Russia. Sergiev Posad is the nearest to Moscow,
it is famous as religious center with Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius monastery.
The city Suzdal is known as the Pearl of the Golden Ring due to its architectural wealth, which includes the
Nativity of the Virgin Cathedral and other churches and monasteries of great interest.
The city Vladimir was founded in 1108. It is famous for its churches and Golden Gate, symbol of the city.
Of particular interest are the Church of Pokrov, the Cathedral of St Dimitri and the Cathedral
of the Assumption where you can admire frescoes by the artist Andres Rubliov.
St. Petersburg
Duration: 3-4 days
During the tour you will see the highlights of the city, the beautiful wide Neva river with its granite
embankments, large and small bridges, the unique architectonic ensembles such as:
the Spit of Vasilievsky Island and Peter & Paul Fortress, the Decembrists' Square with the monument of
Peter the Great, St.Isaac's Cathedral and Isaakievskaya Square, the spacious and majestic Palace Square
with the best baroque style building Winter Palace and famous Alexander Column, the Summer Garden with
its marble Italian statues and Summer palace of Peter the Great, the Field of Mars and harmonic Arts
Square with Russian museum, Our Savior’s Church in Russian style, Smolny monastery and Institute and,
of course, Nevsky Avenue (Nevsky Prospekt) - the main street of the city.
You will visit the largest museum in Russia and one of the most famous museum all over the world,
the Hermitage. The Hermitage is proud of its collection of the Ancient Greek & Roman sculptures,
masterpieces of European painters, impressionists, post - impressionists and representatives of avant-garde,
rich collections of porcelain, armor and furniture.
